As you enter First United Methodist Church in Fort Lauderdale, we hope you will get a sense of a rich history coupled with vibrancy and friendliness. Located at 101 SE 3rd Avenue, the main entrance is on the south side of the building. Free parking is available in our church lot. On Sundays, additional free parking is available until 1 PM at metered spots on the adjacent streets and in the City Parking Garage to the west of our building for those who display a Sunday Parking Pass in their windshield. Our greeters and ushers will be able to supply these passes upon request.

Our location in the heart of downtown Ft. Lauderdale makes us accessible to a variety of out-of-town visitors as well as locals. For our preschool families, we are conveniently nestled among the office towers and government centers. For those who worship with us on Sundays, we are within walking distance to many of the restaurants on Las Olas Boulevard as well as the Art Museum.

History buffs might be interested to know that we have been in this location for almost 100 years and our sanctuary, which was built in 1926 is a beautiful Spanish Mission design that has inspired many for generations.
The stained glass windows in our Sanctuary were designed and executed by the Willet Studios of Philadelphia. Their beauty rivals any seen in cathedrals around the world.
