How GriefShare Works
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.
This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.
GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.
The sessions do not need to be attended in order. Each session is self-contained and you can begin at any place in the sequence. (from the Griefshare website at https://www.griefshare.org/about)
“Going to GriefShare feels like having warm arms wrapped around you when you’re shivering.”

Our Youth have assumed a project to assemble care packages to help benefit the homeless. Each package
costs $7 to assemble. Donations in any dollar amount are gratefully accepted. Or you may purchase items
on their list (click the link to the pdf list shown here). For Easter, they assembled 100 packages ready for
distribution. They invite you to take one or more packages with you to give to homeless you may see at
various locations throughout the city.

For elementary school children, we provide an excellent after-school program, which includes pick-up from local area schools, supervised homework time, play time, and a light snack.
